About the Speakers:

Daniel Freedman is the Co-CEO of Burnalong (www.Burnalong.com), an online video and social motivation platform that works with companies, cities, universities, hospitals, and insurers. He is a former columnist for Forbes and began his career at the Wall Street Journal. He is the co-author of the award-winning, NYT top-10 bestseller, “The Black Banners: The Inside Story of 9/11 and the War Against al-Qaeda.” Daniel previously held senior roles at the United Nations, intelligence consultancy TSG, Apploi, and the U.S. Senate. He also co-founded CyecureBox, a counter-espionage product.

Laura Denton has been with UnitedHealthcare for over 7 years. She has over 18 years in Account Management experience where most of which has been in the Healthcare Industry. Prior to UnitedHealthcare, Laura was an Account Manager for top employee brokerage firms in Richmond, VA. As a Senior Field Account Manager at UnitedHealthcare, Laura works with both fully insured and self-funded clients, many of whom have multiple locations across the United States. She is responsible for presenting current benefits to employees through open enrollment meetings and health/benefit fairs, organizing wellness programs and communicating new and current programs. In addition, she helps educate HR Managers and employees about UHC services and helps resolve high-level service issues. She also created and implements a full communication plan for her clients which is customized to the needs and areas to help members understand and use their benefits to the fullest.

Kevin is a strategic thought leader with over 20-years of healthcare experience in the hospital, international non-profit, carrier and consulting sectors. He has overall responsibilities for OneDigital’s Virginia operations including overall P&L, growth and retention, talent development and acquisition, M&A, and overall development and integration of OneDigital’s Virginia offices across the region while building and fostering a positive workplace culture. OneDigital clients appreciate Kevin’s approach for fresh thinking, new ideas and strategies to help them build thriving businesses and exceptional workplaces for their employees.
